Approximately 72-80% of households located in metro areas have access to the internet. However, in eThekwini and Buffalo City, 66.6% and 66.2% of households had access to the internet in 2018, respectively.

NOTE: Anywhere includes internet access at home, at work, through a mobile phone and via an internet café or educational facility.
